Leslie has been a member of Prairie Quilt Guild since 1988. Over that time, she has served in many capacities including President (2000-2001) and Quilt Show Co-chair twice. She and her husband David have a son and a daughter and 9 grandchildren.
Leslie’s style is very traditional often in Americana color palette.
The Quilter’s Night Before Christmas – From the book by Sue Reich
Quilts and Christmas are the perfect blend. This exhibit features 29 quilts which commemorate the 200th anniversary of the writing in 1822 and publication in 1823 of the most notable holiday poems “The Night Before Christmas”. These quilts were selected to be part of the book “The Quilter’s Night Before Christmas: A Treasury of Tradition” by Sue Reich. One of the Quilts – ‘Ashes and Soot’, was submitted by Prairie Quilt Guild’s own Sara Farley.
